Organizing Efforts

The Indiana State Pipe Trades Assoication works to support organizers within each local. As additional workers and contractors are organized, the entire organization benefits by:

• Increasing job opportunities for current, and new, members and contractors
• Raising the standard for safety and training in the piping industry - ensuring a superior work product for end-users and the general public
• Providing the opportunity for workers to gain a voice in their workplace and earn higher wages and benefits
• Providing a highly-trained, skilled, safe, drug-free workforce for contractors and end-users

 

Through organizing, the pipe trades also seek to gain market share in the residential, service, and light-commercial markets - complimenting our current stronghold in the industrial and commercial sectors of the industry.
